'Walking the extra mile' is the phrase that comes
to mind when I think about Vaibhav. His drive, dedication and positive attitude set a great example for
the rest of the team and explains why everyone enjoyed working with him…internally as well as
externally. During his time at WITTENSTEIN, Vaibhav produced great results for our Sales and Application
Engineering group by going above and beyond his call of duty. He’s a very quick learner and would be an
asset to any team. I certainly miss working with him.

Direct Manager @ WITTENSTEIN
As a Solutions Engineer at HackerRank, Vaibhav had
a customer facing role solving problems. We worked together to confirm and correct any errors that were
found in our question library. He always remembered that the customers were the lifeblood of our
industry and focused on their needs. When he presented an issue to me, it was always fully described
regarding analysis he had done and with a proposed solution. It made it easy for me to verify and
correct problems as they arose, and often it was done while he was still actively communicating with the
customer. His good nature, customer focus, familiarity with multiple computer languages on various
platforms, as well as his analytical and communication skills will make him an asset to any
organization.

I had the pleasure of working with Vaibhav and I
recommend him.
Although I was not his hiring manager, Vaibhav has all the qualities I look for when hiring. He is
intelligent, he wants to learn, he works hard, he asks insightful questions, he has superior social
skills and he works well with everyone. For example, as a new hire he was immediately put in
uncomfortable situations because he either was not completely familiar with the nuances of our products
or he had to work in challenging environments. Everyone that he worked with was impressed not only at
how quickly he came up to speed but how well he covered thorny projects when key members were on
vacation. His coverage was seamless. I have worked with only a hand full of people who can do this.
Vaibhav quickly learned and he became the go-to person in his department.
I would be happy to work with Vaibhav again in any venture because I respect him, I can trust him, and
I know he will work hard. For these reasons I expect Vaibhav’s future ventures to be successful. As a
bonus, he uses his superior social skills to make work fun.

Vaibhav was a high-value contributor on the
controls team of Spartan Superway project, a research project I direct that is developing a new paradigm
in truly sustainable transportation. In this capacity, he taught himself Python to develop software to
control model vehicles on small-scale demonstration of the Superway system. He was highly regarded by
his team mates as being a hard worker and a good listener.
Vaibhav performed in the top 20% of the relatively challenging class I teach on Mechatronics in the
Spring of 2015.
Just last semester, Vaibhav and a colleague from Moog Animatics graciously came to a senior-level
course I teach to talk about SmartMotors and their application in mechatronics. Their talk was well
received.
Based on what I’ve observed, I’m confident that Vaibhav will do well in any position that he seeks.
Dr. Buff Furman
Professor & Advisor @ SJSU
Vaibhav graduated from SJSU with a GPA of 3.8 in
one of the most competitive majors on campus – Mechanical Engineering. He received a grade of “A+” in
the Fluid Mechanics course that I taught in Fall 2013, and he brings this enthusiasm and dedication to
everything he does.
Dr. Jinny Rhee
Professor & Associate Dean of Engineering @ SJSU
Vaibhav is a dependable and hardworking
contributor to any team. I have worked with him on several class projects, one of which involved the
design of an automated pill dispenser. Throughout the project he was highly motivated and took
initiative to designing the sensor circuit and a big portion of the programming for the project.
Furthermore, he also took a large initiative in assembling most of the mechanical components so that we
could sufficiently test the mechanism by our predetermined deadline.
In addition to his technical aptitude, Vaibhav is an excellent communicator and public speaker.
Throughout projects he is quickly responsive and digs into topics to help teams find adequate solutions.
Additionally, through both our project presentations and his talk to my Mechatronics capstone course, he
has proven himself an excellent presenter. He not only brings energy to what he is presenting but
outlines the necessary information in a clear and concise manner.
From what I have seen, I am confident he will do well and bring success to any team he joins.
